Meat science becomes transferable when training crosses language and process boundaries

Texas Tech University’s Meat School en Español shows how specialist meat science can be transferred into real operations across borders. Established in 2015, the format combines classroom teaching and hands-on work for Spanish-speaking professionals. Its most recent edition, held in Lubbock from 16 to 22 August, brought together 52 Latin American industry participants.
