Meat-export capability is built through auditable product pathways

Meat-export capability is not secured by a plant approval alone. On 1 October, Brazil’s National School of Agricultural Management opened enrolment for its fifteenth training cohort on supplementary requirements for exporting meat products to the United States. The 30-hour self-paced online course has no cap on places and targets official veterinarians, inspection technicians and public agents involved in inspections and audits of eligible establishments.
