Thailand turns beef cuts and serving formats into an export specification
Thailand is becoming a more important market for Australian red meat because demand is no longer limited to occasional frozen-product transactions. Meat & Livestock Australia reports that the frozen segment has grown and doubled in size over the past two years. At the same time, the country has developed into one of South-East Asia’s more significant chilled-beef markets. The Thailand–Australia Free Trade Agreement provides a structural basis for this development.
