Broiler welfare claims become credible only when implementation is traceable in the supply chain

The 2026 broiler report changes the weighting of its assessment: documented implementation in the supply chain now accounts for 60% of the total score. Public commitment, roadmap, and progress reporting remain part of the evaluation, but they can no longer compensate for a conversion that does not reach farms, processing, or product ranges. This methodology makes animal welfare a question of operational evidence.
