Texas BBQ Roadtrip 2027: registration now open

M.E.A.T. GmbH has brought forward the booking launch for its Texas BBQ Roadtrip 2027. Registration has been open since 15 October, ahead of the originally announced date of 1 November. The itinerary, hotels and prices are already in place. The study tour is aimed at professionals in butchery, food service, retail and sensory analysis, as well as dedicated BBQ enthusiasts.

The Texas module runs from 20 February to 1 March 2027, accompanied by Ronny Paulusch, from Dallas and Fort Worth via College Station, Cameron and Austin to Lexington and Houston. The programme features Franklin, Snow’s and Truth BBQ, the 44 Farms ranch, a planned meat-science visit to Texas A&M University, and feedlot and butchery visits. It also includes the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest in Houston, the Hill Country tour with LBJ Ranch, and Space Center Houston.

Travellers wishing to stay longer can add the consecutive modules: Las Vegas from 1 to 5 March, San Francisco and Monterey from 5 to 8 March, and Hawaii from 8 to 12 March. The Texas module starts at EUR 2,895 per person sharing a double room. Travel to and from the USA, as well as domestic flights, is booked separately.
