At SIAL Paris, export value is built through usable product stories
SIAL Paris opens on 17 October, and Brazil’s ABPA is attending with ApexBrasil and 25 poultry and pork companies and cooperatives. The Brazilian presence spans four dedicated areas and includes business meetings, product information and tastings of dishes prepared with chicken and eggs.
This is not merely a trade-fair detail. The initiative presents health status, sustainability, quality and customisation capability together. That reflects how export value is now contested: volume and species alone are insufficient; suppliers must answer specifications, documentation, culinary uses and clearly defined commercial channels.
Tastings have a technical-commercial purpose when they link raw material to a recognisable eating format. ABPA’s planned chicken-with-polenta dish is therefore more than a recipe: it allows discussion of application, convenience and performance instead of keeping the product at the abstract level of animal protein.
